Overview:
To provide the fastest and most pleasant customer service by performing the duties related to the front end.
Responsibilities:
Actively communicates with every customer including greeting, thanking, offering a choice of bag type, and performing any other courtesy guideline.
Properly bags customers’ orders to ensure purchases are not damaged.
Works well with all co-workers and supervisors.
Places customer’s purchases in grocery cart or hands bags to the customer and sincerely offers assistance to the customer’s vehicle.
Performs price checks.
Relay customer problems to supervisor.
Retrieves carts from parking lot.
Cleans front end, break room, rest rooms, lobby, parking lot, etc.
Cleans garbage and debris from carts and baskets.
Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
consistently and 50 lbs.
occasionally.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
Ability to bend and lift to load customer orders into cars.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
