We are seeking a Payroll Administrator.
This is a contract, part time position with the potential of becoming a full time role.
As the Payroll Administrator, you would ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple churches and parishes.
What You’ll Do:
Manages end-to-end payroll processing for multiple organizations within the faith-based community.
Ensures accurate calculation of wages, benefits, and deductions through system set up and validation.
Processes payroll on a regular schedule, meeting established deadlines.
Collaborate with Ministry Partners to gather relevant payroll data.
Maintains comprehensive and organized payroll records.
Prepares and maintains payroll-related documentation, including tax forms and reports.
Maintains current knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements for all localities served.
Conduct necessary internal self-audits to ensure payroll compliance.
Generate and analyze payroll reports for management review.
In coordination with Ministry Partners, setup/administer employee benefits within the payroll system and coordinate benefits enrollment process within payroll system
What We’re Looking For:
5-7 years of proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
Knowledge of church/nonprofit payroll regulations, tax codes, and compliance requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation (preferred).

Experience in Realm Payroll and Accounting or ACS financials is preferred
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
